The Lost City has been advertised for some weeks now. We’ve all seen the trailers and we have all been intrigued with the storyline.

The story begins with our main female character Loretta Sage – who is played by the wonderful Sandra Bullock – struggling to finish her exaoctic romance novel. Once she figures out the ending, she heads out on a book tour where we are introduced to her cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), a handsome, kind, if not a bit on the slow side, guy who you can’t help but fall in love with.

Things take a turn for the worst when Loretta is kidnapped by Abigail Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe) – the bad guy of the story who is a an eccentric billionaire who is on the hunt for some lost treasure. Loretta gets whisked away to some ancient, lost city where she is forced to help Fairfax find the location of the treasure. Alan, who is determined to be the hero and not just a pretty face, follows them to the lost city where he attempts to rescue Loretta with a cool, godlike man of the hour, Jack Trainer (Brad Pitt).

There are films where you just know that it’s going to be good just by looking at the cast. Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, and Brad Pitt have long proved that they are some of the best actors in the industry. When they team together, you have and hour and forty minutes of laugh out loud comedy and intense adventure. There is so much packed in one film, you will be thinking about it for days after watching.

It’s an absolute must see! The Lost City is now out on all cinemas!
