Pearl Charles Returns with ‘Givin’ It Up’

Pearl Charles has released her fantastically enchanting new track ‘Givin’ It Up’. You can now listen to it on all major streaming platforms!

The release of the new single comes after the success of Pearls’ 2021 released album ‘Magic Mirror’. The songstress has been playing music since she was 5 years old. With music engrained in her bones, when a Pearl hit 18, she formed ‘The Driftwood Singers’ with Christian Lee Hutson. At 22, she joined as the drummer for band ‘The Blank Tapes’.

‘Givin’ It Up’ gives pure psychedelic vibes from the start. The strong and soft vocals from Pearl compliment the track perfectly, complete with the metaphoric lyrics will be quite literally, music to the ears!

When discussing the new track, Pearl said:

‘The track is written by myself and my partner Michael Rault. Over coffee one morning at our house in the Joshua Tree desert, Michael sat down at our Rhodes piano and began composing the tune. Before we even had a chance to finish our coffee, ‘Givin’ It Up’ had emerged. The song describes the journey of a partnership – the fears that hold us back from accepting the love we all want and deserve in this life and the rewards that you reap from finally embracing and opening up to that love. Sometimes surrender yields the sweetest victory.’

If you’re looking for an easy listen to chill out and disassociate from the day to day struggles, this is certainly the track for you. Feel your worries fade away with this gorgeous, elegant track.
