James Blunt has treated the world once again by unveiling his brand-new single “Unstoppable.” Showing his humorous side, he also dropped a new music video to coincide with the release;
It has been 17 years since James Blunt has graced us all with his presence and fabulous music, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down the pace. As a celebration of his music success, he will be revealing his forthcoming greatest hits album titled “The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021)” from the 19th of November. As a snippet of what’s to follow, “Unstoppable” has been unleashed and will appear on the coming record, alongside a string of hit singles, and a handful of other new material.
“Unstoppable” is upbeat, fun, and will lift your spirits up high into the air. The video only adds to that character as James shows viewers just how funny he is. It’s no secret that the singer likes to make jokes about himself, and this video is no exception. Directed by Jamie Thraves – who has worked alongside Coldplay, Radiohead and Sam Smith – they were able to build a horror themed parody which perfectly showcases James’ riotous personality. Pedestrians in the street seem to be hysterically running away from what seems to be something terrifying. Viewers will find out that this “something terrifying” is indeed, the singer himself.
Whilst the album brings much excitement, that’s not all he has in store for us. Next February, he will be travelling across the UK on his greatest hits tour. Fans will be able to experience James performing songs old and new. It is a time to reflect on his career in the music industry with the ones that have supported him on his journey along the way.
