Jamie Perrett Releases ‘Angel of Santiago’

Jamie Perrett has released his fantastic new solo single, ‘Angels of Santiago’. It’s now available to listen to on all major streaming platforms!

Jamie is a solo artist and producer based in London. Originally finding his musical talents in the lineup of Pete Doherty’s Babyshambles, his career continues to grow from strength to strength.

At present, he is taking the music world by storm and taking centre stage with new releases. With a collection of genres mixed into one, including wave-esque romanticism and 50’s Doo Wop, Jamie has really found his own sound with a prominent rock and roll vibe.

The humble harmonies open the track beautifully. With an upbeat and constant build up forming throughout the track, this is the perfect addition to any summer playlist. Not only is the track a love story, it’s also a travelogue of experience and navigation. ‘Angel of Santiago’ by Jamie Perrett has an incredibly timeless feel, with a perfect clash of vocals.

When discussing the track, Jamie said:

“A short song but a much greater love story. Written in tribute to an under-appreciated guardian angel, “Angel of Santiago” chronicles the mistakes and pitfalls to be encountered along the perilous journey of life.”

The new track was primarily recorded at 123 Studios in Peckham. Additional overdubs were then made later at his own home in London. Phenomenally, Jamie is responsible for vocals, synth, guitar and percussion. Backing vocals are that of Jenny Maxwell, while Jake Woodward added drums. Jamie’s brother Jake Perrett Jnr handled bass, mixed by Tony Draper and mastered by Brian Lucey at Magic Garden.
