The Boo Radleys have made the exciting announcement that they will be heading on tour in the UK in October 2021! Ticket information can be found here.
This will be the first tour The Boo Radleys have done since 1997. Now, they’re back with six, intimate dates – starting off in Bristol, to then later finish in London where they will be celebrating the success of previous dates. The tour will come straight after the release of their brand-new, four track EP – which is due to be released very soon on Friday the 10th of September.
This all-new EP will see unheard songs, as well as leading single “A Full Syringe of Memories” that was released just last month. The single was able to give us an insight as to where the trio will be heading with the new EP. The lyric video was dropped alongside the single release, and is now available to view via YouTube below. If you plan on attending their tour, you might want to learn the lyrics to their new material!
When talking about the new collection of songs, member Simon ‘Sice’ Rowbottom explains;
“The songs span a rhythmically infused and distortion drenched reminiscence of “one drunken night”, a song about potential loss of life and love and another dealing with the final day of a loving parent, lived in the knowledge of certain separation. Deep stuff, yet set within beautiful melodies and toe-tapping rhythms.”
The Boo Radleys orginally formed back in 1988. Back then, they developed the reputation of experimenting with their sound. Dipping in and out of different genres in order to give them their own unique flare. Now, they are back on true form. Their tour is one that you don’t want to miss out on.
