Songstress, Nessa Barrett, has recently released her haunting new single “I hope ur miserable until ur dead.” The track is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms.
We have all been in that situation where a lover has done us dirty and we want them to be miserable for the rest of their lives. Nessa has used this petty yet necessary feeling as inspiration for her new single. “i hope ur miserable until ur dead” is an anthem for the heartbroken. It will allow you to take all your anger out on someone that hurt you. It’s catchy, upbeat, and you will want to scream it out from the top of your lungs!
When talking about the single, Nessa Barrett explains;
“‘i hope ur miserable until ur dead’ is the anger you hold inside when people betray you—when people hurt you so bad and you unapologetically hope they get what they deserve.”

This new single has been released ahead of the singers upcoming EP “pretty poison” – which is due to be dropped on the 10th of September via Warner Records. The EP is now available to pre-order here. Earlier this year, Nessa collaborated with jxdn on “I’m Dead” as part of the Official Soundtrack for the new scripted podcast Prom In Hell – which is a four part horror-musical-comedy series which debuted as the #1 Apple Music Podcast in April. This wouldn’t be the first time she collaborated with jxdn as their breakout hit “la di die” has now reached a whopping 200 million streams! The track was also produced by music legend Travis Barker.
