Indie-pop newcomers, goth gf, have recently shared a Backseat Session of their track “Bleach.” The session is now available to watch via YouTube below;

In the Backseat Session we witness the duo perform a stripped back version of their track “Bleach.” The meaning behind the track focusses on a situation we can all relate to – making rash decisions after we have broken out of a relationship. Whilst the original version is a fun and upbeat summer banger, the stripped back version showcases their talents that little bit more. Both versions however bring joy to the listening experinece. Perfect to blast out on speakers whilst chilling on the beach. Chilling in the sun some friends this summer? Then this is a track for your playlist. Not only did they post a video of the Backseat Session, but you can also enjoy it by streaming it on Spotify!

Each track that appears on the upcoming goth gf EP is accompanied by a “Backseat” version. This is a fantastic idea as you can listen to a different version depending on what you are in the mood for.

goth gf consists of Zach DeGaetano & music director Carter Vaughan. The two boys from the West Coast joined forces after meeting whilst playing the guitar and drums for Billboard chart-topping artist Tate McRae. They found that they both shared a desire to craft a new musicrelated project and immediately started writing together. Thus, goth gf was born. Things were fast working for the pair. Something in them just clicked. It was like fate that the two of them should meet. Within just a month, Zach and Carter completed their upcoming EP “crush” and dropped the first single back in April.
