The Rotanas Release New Track ‘Get The Call’

The Rotanas have released their new song, ‘Get The Call’. You can listen to it on all major streaming platforms!

The band consists of Harry Warren on vocals, James Wilson and Aaron Tormey on guitar, Aled Owen on bass and Tommy Evans on drums. They officially formed in Cardiff in May 2017 as a four piece, and have since gained a 5th member.

Since this time The Rotanas have gained fans up and down the UK. Known for breaking the best guitar bands in the UK, the band teamed up with ‘This Feeling’ to promote their debut UK headline tour back in November 2019.

‘Get The Call’ is a catchy track with the perfect timing and combination of efforts from the band. The 90’s indie vibe matches this perfectly. The incredible vocals from Harry Warren compliment the psychedelic sound so elegantly, you’ll be adding it to your playlist before the song is over.

When discussing inspiration for the track, Aaron Tormey said:

Personally, I like to be quite ambiguous when speaking of the inspiration and meaning behind tracks as I like to let the listener interpret it how they see fit, and I think song meanings can be interchangeable from person to person. I will say that loosely, for me anyway, it’s about putting effort into something but questioning if it’s what you’re meant to be doing in life and whether it’s worth the struggle.”

‘Get The Call’ was recorded in Leeders Vale Studio, Ebbw Vale. It was recorded with the help of Jon Constantine, who has worked with the likes of Public Service Broadcasting and Tom Odell. The track was mixed by Nick Brine and mastered by Pete Maher.
