Freya Beer Drops ‘The Calm Before The Storm’

Today (18th of June), songstress Freya Beer released her fantastic new single titled “The Calm Before The Storm.” The track is now available to stream via Spotify!

“The Calm Before The Storm” has an explosive beginning where we are immediately greeted with a load bang of drums that will travel through your body. From then onwards, the track keeps getting even more powerful. It will send shivers down your spine from the moment you press play to the very last lyric sung. The single follows Freya’s wonderful previous release “The Siren.” In both tracks you will be engrossed by the singers glorious vocals that work beautifully with the storytelling of the lyrics.

When talking about the track, Freya Beer explains;

The song embodies the essence of my earlier single “Dear Sweet Rosie”, but it’s more like Rosie’s older, more mature sister… I wanted it to be a ceremonial ‘esque’ experience.”

The single gives us an insight as to what is to come for the future. Freya is currently working on the final touches for her upcoming album “Beast” – which is due to be released later this year. The album was created between London and Manchester and will be released via her own record label Sisterhood. To coincide with the album, she will also be heading out on a major UK tour that is set to kick off in November. Tickets are now on sale via her website. The full dates can be found below;
