Country songstress, Carrie Cunningham, has recently dropped her most recent single titled “Just A Bar Thing.” This insanely catchy track is now available to stream on Spotify!
“Just A Bar Thing” has everything you want in a country track. It’s infectious, the lyrics are flirtatious, it’s an impossible task not to tap your foot along to the beat. With the world being in a rather dark place currently, a lovely light-hearted song can go a long way. “Just A Bar Thing” will lift your spirits and instantly put you in the best of moods. Perfect for when your day has been particularly tough. The track was co-written with Steve Smentek and Ceri Earle and is the sixth single to be released from Carrie’s Showgirl Series!
When talking about the single, Carrie Cunningham explains;
“Song number six off my Showgirl Series came from a funny incident involving my father. I woke up one morning this past August with a late night missed call and a message from my dad. He lives alone in Nebraska and I immediately had a sense of panic. I quickly listened, only to hear some random guy telling me that he was at the bar with my dad in my hometown, he was good looking, I was beautiful, and we would make a cute couple! Nonetheless, I called my dad to chew him out and he laughed, while telling me it was just a bar thing!”
The singers’ “Showgirl Series!” sees Carrie release a different song every month. She is also offering limited editions of both CDs and vinyl records of the whole album – which can only be purchased through her website! The digital version of the album will not be available until the end of the year, so if you can’t wait that long, then you might want to snatch these up while you can!
