Niall Horan and Anne-Marie Team Up for ‘Our Song’

Niall Horan and Anne-Marie have recently joined forces by releasing their fantastic new single titled “Our Song.” The track is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms!

This is a collaboration that has been long awaited. For months now, stunning songstress Anne-Marie, and One Direction star Niall Horan, have been hinting that a song together is on its way. However, neither let on at what that might mean. Now, fans can finally hear what they have both been working on together. “Our Song” is a fun-loving track that reminisces on a past relationship. You may be feeling okay with a break-up, you know that what has happened is for the best, you may not even think about them that often anymore, but as soon as you hear that song of yours again, it brings back memories of that person that you can’t help but smile about.

The meaning behind the lyrics is one that many will resonate with. The best songs are the ones that we can relate to the most because they best describe a situation we are going through better than we can. Having Niall and Anne-Marie sing from both a male and female perspective portrays “Our Song” as something realistic.

Alongside the release, the pair also dropped a wonderful music video that truly brings the song to life. It’s not a sad song per se, it just makes you look back at a situation without any regrets. You’re glad you spent a portion of your life with that person. Although at times you may miss them, you look back and just feel happiness. The music video perfectly encapsulates this. Whilst the track may be a beautiful, and emotional masterpiece, the video is filled with smiles and colour that you can’t help but be happy over. The video has already received a massive 500,000 views in just two hours! It is now available to watch via YouTube below;

“Our Song” is going to be such a well-loved song for music lovers from all across the globe. Fans of both Anne-Marie and Niall Horan have been patiently waiting for this moment for a long time, and it’s fair to say they were not left disappointed.

Anne-Marie has also shared the news that her new album “Therapy” will be released on the 23rd of July! This album follows her multi-platinum debut “Speak Your Mind” which was dropped in 2018. It was the UKs biggest selling debut of that year and included two massive singles – “2002” and “FRIENDS” – which were highly popular from all over the globe. “Therapy” was written with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Max Martin (Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift), Kamille (Little Mix, Mabel), TMS (Dua Lipa, Lewis Capaldi), Blake Slatkin (The Kid Laroi, 24kGoldn), Plested (Lewis Capaldi), MNEK, Raye, Nathan Dawe and Ed Sheeran. “Our Song” will be featured as well as previous released tracks “Don’t Play” with KSI and Digital Farm Animals and the Nathan Dawe and MoStack collaboration “Way Too Long.”

When talking about the album, Anne-Marie says;

“Ugh, it feels SO GOOD to announce my new album, Therapy! Music is a source of healing for everyone and music is therapy itself, right?! I hadn’t realised until we were hit by the pandemic just how much I NEEDED music. I need to perform. I need to write. My lyrics are my open diary to you all and writing this album has helped me focus and understand my feelings. I needed this album!  As well as seeking therapy from writing and music in general, I’ve also been on a journey of seeing a psychiatrist this past year and it has changed my life. I’ve always tried to be as open as I can with my fans about my own journey and through seeing a professional, I’ve been able to start combatting and understand the anxieties my brain has dealt me over the years. I am learning, and I am progressing. This album helped me get to that place too and it encapsulates lots of feelings and emotions, whether it’s tracks that focus on my own ride, or the ones that I just loved making, and I hope you can lose yourself in it. I made this for you and me.”

This is definitely an album that you need to keep your eye on. Be sure to follow the songstress on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for further updates!
