UV-TV Release New Summer Single ‘Back to Nowhere’

UK-TV have recently released their brand-new single titled ‘Back to Nowhere’. The track is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms here.

Originally from Florida, the band consists of Rose Vastola on vocals and guitar, Ian Bernacett also on guitar, and the most recent member Ian Rose on drums. UK-TV released their debut demo back in 2015, and have gathered an immense following since then. Over the years they have released two albums, ‘Glass’ in 2017 and ‘Happy’ in 2019. Supporters now await for their new album ‘Always Something’, which will be released on 28th May.

‘Always Something’ was written and recorded during isolation in early 2020. The album will be the first written and recorded in its’ entirety since the band moved to New York. Putting together the overwhelming feelings of lockdown, as well as embracing the world for what it is, you can certain that the album will be an instant hit.

UK-TV are known for their ability to blend their own punk sound with pop music melodies, a genre that works perfectly when the two are combined. They have also supported other acts amongst the East Coast scene, such as Screaming Females, Parquet Courts and B Boys.

‘Back to Nowhere’ is pleasantly named, as the track feels nostalgic from the moment you press play. The vocals from Rose work perfectly for the upbeat feel of the song, as well as the instruments contributing together to make the perfect sound. The group really do have their own unique sound, and have done a great job in portraying their message – the hope of dropping your anxieties and taking a step back from the pressure of society.  If you’re looking for a tune to blast out on a drive in the sun, this is absolutely the banger for you!
