Charlotte Young Releases ‘Whiplash (Acoustic)

Birmingham based singer-songwriter, Charlotte Young, has recently released an acoustic version of her song “Whiplash” to celebrate it’s one year anniversary. The track is now available to stream on Spotify!

“Whiplash (Acoustic)” showcases the country singers stunning and gentle vocals. The lyrics are so crisp and clear when sung. Pair that with the soothing guitar melodies and you will be transported to a different world. This is a special addition of the track that was released in order to celebrate the release of her debut single that was dropped a year ago. It tells the tale of of an indecisive love. About somebody who cannot make their minds about whether that special someone is worth it after all the troubles they have been through, and all the the things that have been said.

When speaking of the track, Charlotte Young says;

In honour of the success the fans and country community have given me this past year, here is an acoustic version of the song that gave me such a superb platform which I am eternally grateful for, recorded completely in a lockdown environment I think this will give people a different perspective to Whiplash”.

It has been quite the year for Charlotte. Following the release of “Whiplash,” she has found her place at Number 1 on the UK iTunes Country Single and accompanying Number 1 UK Country iTunes Album with “Blown Away.” Not only that, but she has also been nominated for various awards including; UK Country Artist of the Year & was awarded UKCMSA Newcomer of the Year. The singles that followed “Whiplash” – “Praying for Rain” and “On the Loose” – both reached Number 3 on the UK Country iTunes Chart. After all of this in just a year, the songstress is showing no signs of slowing down.
