Rose Crest have recently released their debut single ‘The Fall’. The track is now available to listen to on Spotify.
Based on Dayton, Ohio, Rose Crest are fairly new to the emo and alternative music scene. Working hard to make relatable and fun to listen to music, the band are finally ready to release their debut single. This wasn’t an easy ride – when recording their new EP that is yet to be released, the band experienced several setbacks. For reasons such as line-up changes, addition recovery and health issues, the band wanted to ensure it was the right time for their release.
Consisting of Brandon Sorrell on vocals, Edward Alec Kemper and Danny Council on guitar and Matt Atha on drums, fans already can’t wait to hear what else the guys have in store. As well as the recorded single, there is also an accompanying lyric video that you can watch below;
When discussing the track, Brandon Sorrell said:
“To me, “The Fall” is about the painful process of trying to cut ties with a toxic person who has drained you of everything, choosing to not be a part of their downfall. I think this single is a good introduction to Rose Crest, and we absolutely can’t wait to share more.”
The raw lyrics will have you resonating in a matter of seconds. Focussed on acknowledging that someone might not be the best person for you, and working out how to action moving forward can be hard. However, the band have released this banger to help you realise that you are not alone.
