American trio SHAED have recently announced that they will be releasing their debut album “High Dive” on the 14th of May! To celebrate the announcement, the band have released their new single “Part Time Psycho” – which is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms.
SHAED have already seen success with the songs that they have already released. They currently have amassed an astonishing 2 billion streams on Spotify, featured in a variety of publications including USA Today, NY Times, Nylon, Variety, Time, Rolling Stone and performed at Margot Robbie’s CHANEL party. Now, they are ready to take the next step by sharing their debut album “High Dive” this Spring. They have also teamed up with mental health charity Teen Line. This organisation provides support, resources, and hope to young people through a helpline of professionally trained teen counsellors. The band will be donating a portion of proceeds from album sales and pre-order bundles to the charity.
“Part Time Psycho” gives us a glimpse into the direction the album is going in. It also sees guest vocals from the outstanding alternative artist Two Feet. When talking about the track, SHAED says;
“All of us are part time psychos. Feeling anxiety, pressure, confusion, and sadness is normal. But bottling these feelings up can be dangerous. It’s ok to admit when you’re struggling. It’s ok to feel a little psycho. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. And you never will be. We hope that sharing this song about our own struggles helps normalise the ups and downs we all experience, and sparks more conversation about mental health.”
The single follows their previous singles “No Other Way” and “Once Upon A Time” – both of which have seen tremendous success. Their break-out hit “Trampoline” which features ZAYN has received over 59 million views on the music video, and has featured on Apple’s MacBook Air ad.
There is no doubt that “High Dive” is going to be a well-loved debut. It is now available to pre-order here. To keep up to date on future releases, be sure to follow SHAED on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
