Ade has recently released his unique new single “Havin’ Fun with Pharaoh.” The track is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The visual can be viewed below;
“Havin’ Fun With Pharaoh” gives us a glimpse into the direction that Ade’s debut album “Midnight Pizza” is heading. Last month, the singer released teaser track “The City” – which will also be on the album. Whilst “The City” has a dark atmosphere to it, “Havin’ Fun With Pharaoh” is quite the contrast. The new single is filled has a fun feel to it that will instantly put you in a good mood.
When talking about the track, Ade explains;
Havin’ Fun with Pharaoh was an instrumental track that had been kicking around for a while. When it finally came time to figure out what I might want to say over it, I was going through my voice notes in search of some inspo (as one does) and ended up all the way back at the original recording of myself sitting at the piano and playing the main riff for the first time some years ago, featuring some of my friends’ voices in the background. One thing led to another and I found myself listening to a year of my and my friends’ voices, wrapped in this iQuilt patched with vibrant, goofy voice note memories. I found it only fitting to make the song a tribute to the time that that piano part was conceived, the voices in those little recordings, and the friends they belong to.”
Ade is a singer-songwriter based in New York City. His sound is nothing like you hear anywhere else – which makes him stand out amongst the rest. This coming April will see the release of his debut album “Midnight Pizza.” The fantastic name may have already caught your attention. It has been described as a coming of age record for the millennial generation. It will take you on a journey where fantasy and reality collide. The album is due to be released on the 23rd of April, so make sure you mark that day in your calendars!
