Alt band Oxygyn have recently released their insane new single titled “Mercy.” The track is now available to stream on Spotify!

“Mercy” is the perfect blend of electric beats, mixed in with that alternative punch. Impossible to listen to quietly. In fact, the only way to listen to it is if you set your speakers to full blast. The bass can be felt deep in your chest, and the harmonising in the vocals is phenomenal. It won’t take you long to learn the lyrics as it is so catchy, which is great news because you’ll want to sing along to the track the moment you hear it.

When talking about the track, frontman Kurt Abela explains;

 “‘Mercy’ abstractly focuses on the narrative of an individual who trusts another enough to be vulnerable, and then has this same vulnerability used against them”.

The band was founded by sibling vocal duo Kurt and Katia. They were then joined by Zack on guitars, and Funky Monkey on production. Oxygynhave set their goal and are determined to leave their unique stamp on the music pop scene. They want their listeners to not only hear their music, but give them a chance to sit back, relax, and reflect. They have a sound like no other and deserve to be listened to by everyone – so make sure you’re adding it to all of your favourite playlists!
