Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park Drops ‘Happy Endings’ ft. Iann Dior and Upsahl

Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and member of Linkin Park Mike Shinoda, Iann Dior and Upsahl have joined forces for new song ‘Happy Endings’. It is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms!

Complete with a frantic and intense energy, the new song elaborates on the frustration we all feel as we enter 2021. At a global time of uncertainty, many fans and listeners can relate to the worldwide message portrayed through the lyrics.

Mike Shinoda has teased the release last week via social media platforms, Twitch, and cryptocurrency authorities. With this in mind, he has become the first major label act to launch a single through NFT auction, with the top 10 highest bidders receiving an original print of the single artwork signed by himself, and contemporary artist Cain Caser. The proceeds from the auction will be put towards ArtCenter College of Design.

The song has a strong guitar opening which blends perfectly with the harmonies that follow. The bridge has the lyric ‘why do I expect to have the patience that I don’t have’, a feeling as a society that we have grown to experience. This is definitely the team up of dreams, with Mike Shinoda, Iann Dior and Upsahl all bringing their own unique sound to the track. Whatever your preferred genre of music is, you’ll enjoy the meaning and sound of this song from start to finish.

Within the past year or so, Mike Shinoda has focussed his efforts towards creating new music with fans, as well as teaching production each morning via Twitch. He has also recently been helping to produce tracks made by his fans.
