Singer-songwriter Lindsay Ell has recently released her brand-new single “Hit Me.” Alongside the release, fans were also treated to an incredible visual which can now be found via Youtube below;

“Hit Me” is the latest single that can be found on Lindsays most recent album “heart theory” – which shows the singers most personal collection of songs yet. The album saw a high amount of praise from listeners as well as the media. It debuted inside the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Country Albums and Top 5 on the UK Country Album Chart. “heart theory” is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms.

“Hit Me” has an extremely catchy beat to it and is combined with highly relatable lyrics that will literally hit you. Lindsays vocals flows beautifully from the moment the track plays, right up until the very end. The only criticism that can be said is that it finishes too soon, but that’s okay because then you can just start it all over and appreciate it once again.

When talking about the track, Lindsay Ell says;

“‘Hits me’ is the song that started this whole record.  It was the first song that I wrote and knew that I’d written something special.  The first drum hit  is where all the magic starts and I think that most people can relate to the feeling of shock that this song is about. Particularly now, given the circumstance we’ve collectively been living through this past year.”

The show is a charity event and all proceedings made will be donated to Crew Nation and other beneficiary organisations soon to be announced. Special guests will also be making an appearance.
