Next month, Maggie Lindemann will be dropping her debut EP “Paranoia.” To get fans excited, she has recently dropped yet another banger titled “Loner.” The new track is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms!
The songstress is showing a more vulnerable side to her in “Loner.” The highly relatable single focusses on that feeling of being alone. It’s about accepting that feeling and that being a loner is okay. Maggie decided to release “Loner” just before Christmas in order to reach out to people who may be feeling this was during the holidays. Whilst it centres around a sensitive topic, there is some form of comfort within the captivating lyrics and flawless vocals.
When talking about the track, Maggie Lindemann says;
“Loner is about feeling alone even when there’s people around. It’s about coming to terms with it and being comfortable in your alone-ness and giving yourself permission to feel sad if that is how you feel. Everyone has those moments, especially this year and especially around holidays – it’s ok, you’re not alone.”
With every song the renewed punk queen releases, we can see the progression. It’s fascinating to see a talented artist completely u-turn on their style of music. Whilst she once sung those pop tracks that we all loved, this new alt/punk sound seems to be where she truly belongs.
“Loner” wasn’t the only announcement Maggie has made recently! Alongside the release, the singer also dropped some pretty incredible new merchandise. She’s taking a more darker route when it comes to a Christmas jumper, but you can’t help but admire the savage attitude. These Christmas jumpers can be found here. January 2021 is quite the month for Maggie. “Paranoia” will be released, but we will also being seeing her acting debut in Machine Gun Kelly’s upcoming film, “Downfalls High.”
To summarise, Maggie Lindemann is killing it. “Paranoia” will be out on the 22nd of January. For more updates, be sure to follow Maggie on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
