London-based singer-songwriter Brooke Law has recently partnered up with UK homeless charity Crisis. Her Christmas single “Home” is now available to stream on Spotify. 100% of the proceeds will go straight to the charity.
2020 has been difficult for everyone for many reasons. However, it’s times like this where you see how truly fortunate you are. Living in London, Brooke Law has been moved by the effects the current climate has had on many individuals and families. The COVID-19 crisis has led to a rise in numbers involving homelessness, poverty and loneliness.
“Home” is a moving piece of music that will have you reaching for the tissues. It’s all about being apart from a loved-one over Christmas time. Brooke has a way of expressing her beliefs and values through her lyrics in the most heartwarming way.
When talking about the single, she says;
“I can’t imagine not being home at Christmas with my family and the thought of being all alone or unable to be comforted by loved ones at such a difficult time really affected me. I just felt that I could be doing more to help someone less fortunate than I am. There are 320,000 homeless people in the UK, and we can all give a gift of a Crisis Christmas to give a homeless person a home on Christmas day. I hope that my song will not only reach out emotionally to those in need, but will also provide some practical help through donations”
“Home” is a stunning masterpiece that will touch listeners hearts. It will make you feel so much emotion and want to help those less fortunate than you. Brooke has successfully created a track that will make you think. Be inspired by this track just like we were.
