Iceland-based singer-songwriter Jelena Ciric has officially confirmed the date of her debut EP titled “Shelters One.”
The EP will be out on all major streaming platforms from the 27th of November. In the meantime, Jelena has treated the world to a snippet by releasing the first single “Lines” – which can be streamed on Spotify now!
Jelena Ćirić is the long-lost child of Regina Spektor and Joni Mitchell. She uses her music to help delve into what it feels like to belong. Anyone that hears her music will experience the same emotion through the tracks soothing piano and the singers delicate, yet expressive voice. “Lines” is a wonderful piece of art that deserves to be appreciated by many.
“Shelters One” is a collection of four songs – all of which are filled with emotion. Jelena has a talent to perfectly execute a meaningful tale in every lyric that she writes.
When speaking about the songs on the EP, Jelena says;
“If emotions were gems, these songs would be an attempt to pick them up carefully and turn them until they refract the light,”
