Brand New Festival ‘Creation Day’ Announced

A brand new, two day festival called “Creation Day”, created by Alan McGee has been announced for 2021! Tickets on sale now and you can find them here!

To celebrate the label ‘Creation Records’, it’s founder Alan McGee will bring music artists and fans together is a special two day festival named ‘Creation Day’ in Wolverhampton West Park, 29th – 30th May 2021.

The City of Wolverhampton Council, Creation Management and Toura Toura Festivals have come together to give you an incredible music experience.

With a popular and extensive career in music, Alan McGee has dedicated the last 40 years to some impressive artists, who you’ll see in the line up of ‘Creation Day’.

The first night of the festival will be headlined by none other than 80’s favourites, ‘Happy Mondays’. Frontman of the band, Shaun Ryder, will also be performing with his other band ‘BLACK GRAPE’. This will be the first time ever, that Ryder will perform with both bands at the same festival.

Other acts include Friendly Fires, Echo and the Bunnymen, as well as so many more acts that are already in your playlist!

When talking about Creation Day, Alan McGee said:

“I’m looking forward to this one, some of the best old bands with some of the best new bands. I can’t wait to come and bring it all to Wolverhampton. Creation Day is the first time we have done anything like this since doing it for the kids. Hopefully we can do this every year.”

With a keen eye for new talent, ‘Creation Day’ will be a great opportunity to showcase new acts founded by Alan McGee. The crowd are really in for a treat, with the line up jam packed with artists new to the music scene, as well as the classic talent we have grown to love over the years.
