The Magic Gang have recently dropped their catchy new single “Somebody Like You.” Now available to stream on all major streaming platforms!

The band have not long released their second critically acclaimed Top 20 album “Death Of The Party.” Now, they have returned with another absolute bop that will be one of your favourite songs of 2020.

“Somebody Like You” starts with a simple, yet endearing guitar riff that will instantly have you hooked. As the song progresses, you’ll hear beats that are foot-tap worthy, and clever lyrics that you feel like you already know after the first listen.

When talking about the single, The Magic Gang say;

“Even though the album just came out, we’ve been writing non-stop (there’s not much else to do) so we thought why sit on this song? It’s also the first song we’ve self-produced, we’ve been learning a bit about that in lockdown too. The song is about enduring friendship. Lockdown was the longest Kris and Paeris had gone without seeing each other since they were eight-years-old.”

Although it’s been a tough year on everyone, the band have decided to make light of the situation and offer their services and talent to their fans. They have been writing love songs for their fans who are missing loved ones. A beautiful gesture in what truly is a dark time.
