The London-based singer/songwriter Fox Jackson has recently released the music video for his single “Behind Closed Doors.” The video can be viewed below:
Fox Jackson is a jazz-infused musician who is inspired by artists such as Earth Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang and George Benson. His music can be described as sexy and dance-worthy. His vibrant melodies and toe-tapping beats are unmistakably his own, making him stand out from other artists that you will hear today.
The singers’ music career first took off when he was only 11 years of age, when he was casted to play Billy Elliot in the West End musical. After trying out roles both on stage and on TV, he decided to make that transition to his one true love, music.
“Behind Closed Doors” is his debut single and has that addictive blend of funk, soul and pop. With seductive bass lines and effortless vocals, the track will have get you into a zone that will be difficult to get out of. The track was produced by Nick Burns – who happens to be a friend of Foxs’.
When talking about the track, and what it was like working with Nick, Fox says;
“We both have a love for Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams and what they brought to pop music by using jazz chords and melodies in pop songs. It’s what I have always gravitated to and as I quickly found out, so has Nick.”
