Midlands based band Black Bear Kiss have recently dropped their brand-new track “Reach Up Higher.” It’s now available to listen to on Spotify so be sure to check it out!
What stands out most in this single is the insane guitar riffs. “Reach Up Higher” is extremely upbeat and will be a banging song live! We can picture the audience bouncing and moshing around like there’s no tomorrow. The track highlights the influence that mainstream media has on the world.
When speaking of the track, lead singer Chris Leech says;
“The song addresses some of the big issues, both home and abroad. The press and public figures in positions of power need to understand the influence they have – their opinions should not be treated as gospel. ‘Reach Up Higher’ is about trying to do better and not believing everything you read, especially on social media”.
Alongside the release, the band also dropped quite a unique music video which is definitely worth a watch! You find the music video for viewing below:
The song is the beginning of a new chapter for Black Bear Kiss. It was recorded and produced at Magic Garden Studios with producer Gavin Monaghan. Gavin has worked with some incredible artists including; Robert Plant, Editors, The Twang and The Sherlocks.
We’re very much looking forward to seeing where this next chapter will take them. If “Reach Up Higher” is anything to go by, then this next body of work will be some of the best Black Bear Kiss have ever done. For more updates, be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
