Stunning songstress – who goes by the name of Illicit Ghost – has just dropped her new single “Present.” Out now on Spotify!

The track is catchy piece of work that focusses on being in the present even though it can be difficult sometimes. Sometimes, you hear a song that’s so refreshing, it’s impossible not to fall in love with. Whilst we enjoy song about love and relationships, it can sometimes feel as if that’s ALL anyone ever writes about. It makes a nice change to hear lyrics that resonates with people on a different level. A lyric video was dropped at the same time as the single so be sure to check that out below;

“Present” is Illicit Ghost’s third single taken off her upcoming EP – which is due to be out later in the year. It was written and produced by herself and Elliot Jacobson (Elle King, Vérité). If this song is anything to go by, we know the EP is going to be worth the wait!

When speaking of the single, Illicit Ghost says;

“This is a song about learning to be present. It’s about acknowledging difficult feelings and doing the work to heal, move forward and live in the moment.”
