This week, reports have surfaced to say that Zac Efron will be returning to Disney by starring in the remake of “Three Men and a Baby.”

Zac’s claim to fame dates back all the way to 2006 when he played teenage heartthrob Troy in High School Musical. High School Musical, as we all know, is a Disney Channel original film. As much as he probably hates to admit it, Zac wouldn’t be where he is today if it weren’t for Disney.

We don’t have to describe the plot to High School Musical to you. We know you’ve watched it, (you’re lying if you say you haven’t). It’s cheesy, kind of cringe, but we love it anyway.

After fourteen long years, it has been said that he will be returning as part of the “Three Men and a Baby” – which will eventually be available to stream on Disney+. It is still very early days. Zac Efron doesn’t currently have any co-stars, and the film is yet to find a director. What we do know is that Gordon Gray will be producing the film. He is is best known for producing sports films like Million Dollar Arm and Invincible.

The 1987 version of the film starred Tom Selleck, Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg. The plot sees three bachelors finding themselves co-parenting Ted’s character’s baby daughter after she was left on the doorstep.

It’s unclear which role Zac Efron will be playing but we can’t wait to find out!
