Klara McDonnell has recently dropped her brand-new song “Dusty Glitter” – a collaborative single that celebrates her inspirational cancer journey. You can now listen to it via Spotify!

“Dusty Glitter” is an extremely charming song that showcases Klara’s wonderful talents. It was released last year and was produced by Beardfire Music. Now, she has dropped a remixed version that features the talented Peruvian producer Skynem.

The two met online through a mutual friend, Robert O’Connor. Skynem was able to put his signature sound onto the track, without taking away the true meaning and purpose behind the song. It was released on the 31st of July and was partnered with an absolutely gorgeous video that you can watch below!

Klara McDonnell was sadly diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. However, instead of looking for pity, she used her social media to share her journey with her followers – from diagnosis through chemotherapy and surgery – all of which were completed last month! By sharing her experience, her following on TikTok grew rapidly.

TikTok has allowed people to see Klara’s upbeat and infectious personality. A large number of her following are also women who are experiencing and going through the same hardships. The Dublin born singer found herself being a role model and inspiration to those who might have not been dealing with the disease the same way. Klara was able to give these women comfort by showing them that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Although she’s been through a lot, and it’s not an easy journey for anyone to go through, she always saw the best of the situation. Her social life was her hospital visits. They were filled with dazzling outfits, smiles, and wigs! Her story is certainly one to get behind and will bring a smile to your face. Truly a very strong lady you need to support.
