Steps Release Lyric Video for ‘To The Beat Of My Heart’

During a dark and cold January, Steps have warmed us up with a new lyric video for ‘To The Beat Of My Heart’. The video is now avaiable to watch via YouTube below;

The new lyric video shows Faye, Claire, Lisa, Lee and H having fun in an arcade game setting. With all of your favourite games and amusements, you’re likely to become lost in the location, wishing you were there too. Complete with dance mats, bowling, air hockey and fruit machines, what more could you want?! This is certainly an impressive video idea and one of the best lyric video concepts you’d have seen for a long time.

Produced by Submarine Films and directed by Harold Strachan, the video was shot at Coral Island Arcade in Blackpool. Interestingly, this was in between rehearsals for the Royal Variety! There’s a real sense of fun and freedom, which is something we could all do with being reminded of lately. For once, not having to come together with intense dance routines, you will love to see the group go crazy and let go of the world for a few minutes.

‘To The Beat Of My Heart’ is the third single to be released from Steps’ most recent album ‘What The Future Holds’, released in November last year. The song itself has also been featured on Spotify playlists such as ‘New Music Friday’ and Apple’s ‘New Music Daily’.

Steps are touring the UK and Ireland later this year, with concerts due to take place from November into December. They will be joined by the fabulous Sophie Ellis-Bextor as their special guest! You don’t want to miss this one, you can buy your tickets here.
